About Us
The Hills of Ohio Planned Giving Council (HOPGC) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization working to increase charitable planned giving within southeastern Ohio by serving as a voice and professional resource for the charitable gift planning community. Since the Councils formation in 2003, it has been dedicated to the education and training of its members and to raising public awareness of charitable giving overall and planned giving specifically.
Members of the organization include fundraisers for nonprofit organizations and professional advisors whose work includes developing, marketing, planning and administering charitable planned gifts within the area.
With four quarterly meetings per year, members and guests are given the opportunity to get continuing education and training in various planned giving topics as well as to network with other nonprofit and professional members who work within the planned giving arena. In addition, members are given the opportunity to take on leadership and speaking responsibilities, as well as be a part of the various marketing materials that are distributed to the general public.
